bdnews24.com :The newly opened website of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has been hacked.A hacker, identifying as ‘FS’ and a Bangladeshi, took the site down Thursday night.The ACC was asked on the website to “stop corruption”.ACC Chairman M Badiuzzaman inaugurated the bilingual site on Mar 31.”The ACC has entered a new era today,” he had said. “We now have the opportunity to highlight our work with transparency. Anyone can know about ACC activities by visiting the site.”Its Deputy Director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told bdnews24.com on Friday that the IT department was looking into break-in.At around 4pm, the site (http:/www.acc.org.bd/) was inaccessible with a notice reading: ‘Site is under Maintenance’.When googled, the website’s introductory section displayed a message saying it had been “Hacked By FS. #Bangladeshi hacker.”The message went on to say the site was “too damn vulnerable”, while the hacker claimed to be a “good guy”.Bhattacharya said, “We will find out who hacked the site.”
