UNB, Dhaka :The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned a deputy general manger of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) in connection with alleged recruitment irregularities.The Commission on Sunday served a notice, signed by its assistant director Saiful Islam, upon BDBL deputy general manager Shafiqul Islam to be present at the ACC head officer on March 12 to face grilling, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.The ACC also questioned BDBL general manger Arefina Begum on February 22, 2015 in connection with the allegation.The national anti-graft body earlier in January this year received an allegation, which mentioned that Arefina Begum along with her some colleagues recruited incompetent bank officials by taking bribe from the jobseekers.There was also an allegation that he accumulated a huge amount of illegal wealth by swindling out money from BDBL abusing her power.
