The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday decided to hold investigation against a Sub-Registar of Ishwardy Upazila in Pabna district on charge of allegedly amassing a ‘vested property’ worth Tk five crore.
ACC in its routine meeting came up with the decision, ACC PRO said.
The sub-register through a mutual understanding with other officials executed a sale deed of the vested property. Later, he took control of the property.
Officers will be assigned to carry out the inquiry soon.
