The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has initiated a probe into a complaint that Mohammad Maksudul Hasan, Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, amassed huge wealth beyond his known sources of income.
In the current week, the top executives of the Commission took the decision and assigned its Deputy Director Nezamul Ahsan Gazi to look into the mtter under the supervision of another Deputy Director Mohammad Abdus Sobhan.
Sources said that Maksudul Hasan had owned several flats, plots, and other properties in and outside the city.
The anti-graft body has also been conducting another investigation against him since July, 2014 on charge of allegedly providing illegal gas connections.
