Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Commissioner Dr Nasir Uddin Ahmed said that ACC and Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) would work together against corruption.
The Commissioner said it at a co-ordinated meeting with a slogan ‘corruption will not be committed, supported and spared’ organised at Legal Aid Association auditorium in Madaripur district on Tuesday.
The ACC will co-operate a five-year ‘Bibek Programme’ of the TIB to reduce corruption practice from the society.
He requested the representatives of the civil society, officials of the government and the private organisations to raise a movement against the corruption.
Presided over by Madaripur district Anti-Corruption Committee President Zahirul Islam, ACC Director General Dr Shamsul Arefin, Faridpur district ACC Office Deputy Director Dr Moloy Kumar Roy and Legal Aid Association Chief Convener Khan Mohammad Shahid, among others, spoke.
