A team of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday summoned driver and bodyguard of a former judge, who acquitted BNP leader Tarique Rahman in a money laundering case, ACC sources said.
The team leader and ACC Deputy Director Harun-Or-Rashid sent notices to Driver Sohrab Hossain and Guard Badal Dewan asking them to appear in the court by January 27 to face questions about sources of wealth and properties of retired Judge Motahar Hossain.
The same team, meanwhile, interrogated two stenographers of the judge about Motahar. They are Abu Hasan and Nurul Islam.
