Chittagong Bureau :
Anti -Corruption Commission in Dhaka has summoned Deputy Secretary of Chittagong WASA and 7 others CWASA officials to appear before the ACC office for interrogation in alleged allegations of corruptions.
Deputy Director of ACC, Dhaka Mir Md.Jainul Abedin Shibli in a directive asked them to remain appear before the ACC office in Dhaka on November 9 and 10 next. Asstt Engineer(Civil) Farhana Javin, Accounts Assistant Afsana Noor, Revenue officer Mir Hossain and Liaqat Ali have been asked to appear on Nov 9 and the Deputy Secretary Jahangir Alam , Pump Man Moinudduin , Store Keeper AKM Saifuddin Chowdhury, Asstt. Pump Man Md. Tarekuddin Chowdhury on Nov 10 respectively.
A reliable sources said a number of allegations lying with the ACC office against the Deputy secretary for irregularities in appointments, promotions and transfer of officials , workers and bribe scandal.
