The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned four officials of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, including its managing director Engr Md Nowshad Islam, seeking their wealth statements.
The ACC recently launched probes against the Titas Gas officials after receiving allegations that they have accumulated huge illegal wealth.
On Wednesday, the Commission served notices upon the officials asking them to submit their wealth accounts to the ACC within the stipulated time, said ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
The officials who were asked to submit their wealth reports are Titas Gas managing director Engr Md Nowshad Islam, its deputy general manger (Gazipur) Rafiqul Islam, deputy assistant Engr Mofazzal Hossain and staff Nurul Haque Mollah.
ACC assistant director Shamsul Islam is currently conducting probes against the Titas Gas officials.
