Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed two separate cases against expelled Organizing Secretary of Jubo League Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan and GK Shamim and his mother for amassing wealth beyond their known source of income.
ACC’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to media.
The Commission filed the case against Khaled for amassing about Tk 5.58 crore illegally while; another case was filed against GK Shamim and his mother for amassing Tk 297 crore illegally.
Jubo League on September 20 expelled its Dhaka South Organising Secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan, who was arrested for running a casino, and breaching the organisation’s discipline and his involvement in anti-social activities.
