The Anti- Corruption Commission ( ACC) on Sunday filed a case against former managing director of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited Engineer Mohammad Nawshad Jamil Islam for amassing around Tk 1.82 crore.
Deputy Director of ACC SMM Akhter Hamid Bhuiyan filed the case with the city’s Ramna Model Police Station.
Spokesperson of ACC Pranab Kumar Bhattarcharya told UNB that ACC sued Mohammad Nawshad (currently General Manager, Chairman’s Office, Petro Bangla)for acquiring wealth worth Tk 1.03 crore beyond known source of income and concealing information of wealth worth Tk 79.41 lakh.
