Anti-Corruption Commission filed graft case against a former official of Dhaka North City Corporation on Sunday.
ACC Assistant Director Jasmine Akhter filed the case against former Purchase and Store Officer of DNCC Abdul Malek.
The case was filed in ACC’s Coordinated District Office Dhaka-1.
The case story says that the DNCC official has embezzled about Tk 65 lakh from 2011 to 2014.
It stated that the accused abused his responsibility and power of his designation. The official has committed punishable offense as per Section 409 of penal code and the Section 5(2) of Anti-Corruption Act of 1947.
