Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has served a notice on BNP leader Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and his wife Tahera Alam, seeking their wealth statement.
In the notice sent on Tuesday, they had been asked to submit the statement within 21 working days, confirmed ACC Public Relations Officer
Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya. Besides, On Monday, the ACC approved chargesheet against former BNP leader Barrister Nazmul Huda and his wife Advocate Sigma Huda in a corruption case.
The anti-graft body approved the chargesheet on Monday, said the ACC spokesperson Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
