ACC officials asked to complete inquires into graft allegations in time

Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Dr Md Nasir Uddin Ahmed on Thursday asked its officials to complete all inquires into the allegations in graft cases within the stipulated time.
“Every probe must be completed within timeline given by the Commission. No official will be allowed to remain his or her probes pending without any rational reason,” he said at
an evaluation meeting on the progress of the Commission’s one-year work plan implementation at the ACC’s head office.
Nasir Uddin stressed the need for taking technical assistance from other agencies to create database by taking information from the data centre of the Commission’s Law Wing.
He also asked the ACC officials to play their respective duties in implementation of the Commission’s one-year work plan.
During the meeting, directors general of the ACC’s six wings placed their progress reports on the Commission’s one-year work plan to the commissioner and the chair of the meeting.
