The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has initiated a probe against Jatiya Party presidium member Kazi Firoz Rashid, MP for allegedly grabbing land in the capital.
The Commission at its recent meeting decided to launch a probe into the allegations raised against the Jatiya Party leader, ACC sources said.
ACC deputy director Zulfikar Ali has already been appointed as inquiry officer to carry out probe into the allegation.
The national anti-graft body recently received an allegation that Firoz Rashid in association with others grabbed a piece of land in city’s Dhanmondi area abusing his power.
