The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) again interrogated former State Minister for Water Resources and incumbent MP from Patuakhali-4 Constituency Mahbubur Rahman on charge of allegedly amassing wealth worth Tk 6.5 crore beyond his known sources of income.
ACC Deputy Director and Investigation Officer Farid Uddin Ahmed quizzed him in the Commission headquarters at Segunbagicha, Dhaka on Wednesday.
ACC Deputy Director Khairul Huda filed a case against the lawmaker on August 21.
Mahbubur Rahman talking to journalists said that the ACC filed the case against him on the basis of wrong information.
