The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday interrogated former Rajuk chairman and four others in three cases filed against former Housing and Public Works secretary Dr Khondaker Showkat Hossain for allegedly taking government plots abusing power.
ACC investigation officer and deputy director Jatan Kumar Roy quizzed them from 10 am to 4 pm at the ACC head office, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
The ACC yesterday
questioned former Rajuk chairman M Nurul Huda, director general of Non-Formal Education Bureau Akhter Hossain Bhuiyan (former DCC North administrator), joint secretary of Water Resources Ministry Khijir Ahmed, joint secretary of Food Ministry Mahbub Ul Alam (then Rajuk member, development) and additional secretary Anwarul Islam Shikder (former Rajuk member, planning).
