The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday interrogated Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rafiqul Islam Babul, on charge of his alleged amassing of wealth worth Tk several crore in dishonest way.
ACC Deputy Director Hamidul Hasan grilled him in the Commission head quarters.
A letter signed by DD Hamidul was sent in his address on December 17 to appear before the Commission on Sunday.
On receipt of allegation on his illegal wealth, the ACC took it into cognisance and formed a probe team to enquire.
