Director General (Legal and Prosecution) of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Senior District and Sessions Judge Md Mofizur Rahman passed away.
He breathed his last around 2:30 am on Tuesday at his residence. ACC Public Relations Officer (Director) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mofizur Rahman. In a condolence message on Tuesday, the Chief Justice prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Mofizur Rahman Bhuiyan was an official of the 13th BCS (Justice) batch.
