“The corrupt people will have no way to escape if the common people resists. So the people from all walks of life should be united against the evil people like corrupts”, said the Commissioner of the Anti corruption Commissioner (ACC) AFM Aminul Islam.
Jointly organised by the District Administration and anti Corruption Committee, the ACC commissioner was addressing as chief guest at a function following a day long mass hearing programme at a community centre in Jhenaidah on Wednesday.
Upazila nirbahi officer of Jhenaidah Sadar Yearul Islam, deputy commissioner Jakir Hossain, additional deputy commissioner (general ) Mohammad Asaduzzaman, deputy director of local government rural development Abu Yousuf Rezaur Rahman, additional deputy commissioner (rtevenue) Khodeja Khanam and senior assistant superintendent of police Shahab Uddin Ahmed remain present as special guests.
A total of 66 persons from Jhenaidah Sadar upazila participated in the mass hearing and put their questions to the ACC commissioner.
The commissioner replied the questions and assured the participants for taking stern action against the corrupt officials in the district.
