The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday arrested an Agrani Bank official in Faridpur in a graft case.

zila office arrested Shamrat Miah, cash officer of Kalkini branch of the bank in Madaripur, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
On September 17, 2016, the ACC filed a case against him and two others with Kalkini Police Station for allegedly plundering about Tk 20 lakh, the salaries of teachers covered under the government’s MPO (monthly pay order) programme, from the Kalkni branch of the bank.
