Staff Reporter :The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested two businessmen around 10:30am on Saturday from Sujakanda area of Jamalpur district town on charge of Tk 76 crore loan scam from BASIC Bank.The arrested are: Sarwar Jahan and Shamim Ahmed Suja, Directors of Emerald Auto Bricks Group.ACC’s Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirm about the arrest.He said, a case was filed against the two businessmen with Paltan Police Station on September 23 last year.It is one of the 56 cases filed by the ACC last year against 110 people and organizations for irregularities in loans worth about Tk 4,500 crore.
