Leaders of JSD Inu-backed Bangladesh Chhatra League on Sunday demanded to ensure academic atmosphere at all the educational institutions across the country.
“Only education can change a nation and help to work in the world arena. Good academic atmosphere is a must to improve the educational sector,” they said.
They said this at a council of its Dhaka University (DU) unit under the Banyan tree on the university campus yesterday.
JSD leader Shirin Akhter MP was the chief guest at the council, while Lutfa Taher MP and Nazmul Haque Prodhan MP, former president of JSD Inu backed Bangladesh Chhatra League Shariful Kabir Shapan and Mokhlesur Rahman Moktadir took part the function as the special guests.
JSD Inu backed Bangladesh Chhatra League President Shamsul Islam Sumon presided over the function, while its General Secretary Shahjahan Ali Saju moderated the programme.
The leaders blamed the Islami Chhatra Shibir for creating anarchic situation on the university campuses.
“Islami Chhatra Shibir and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal are trying to establish supremacy on the university campuses and other educational institutions all over the country. It is high time to resist them,” they said.
They called upon all the leaders and activists of the party to work more together to eliminate evil forces from the country’s educational institutions.
