The academic activities of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), which was closed for an indefinite period following a clash on April 12, will resume on Wednesday.
Eight students yesterday were declared persona non grata in the university hall for their involvement in the clash between students of two faculties over a cricket match.
They are Kollan Ashis Vadhuri, Jagannath Chandra dey, Bhuban Chandra Haldar, SM Abdus Salam Shimul and AshikHazra of veterinary Medicine and fisheries; Shafiqul Islam, Sajid Mehra Shohardo and Farhadul Islam of fisheries; said Khalilur Rahman, deputy director (public relations) of CVASU.
