Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) here destroyed abusive drugs worth around Tk 9 crore on Tuesday .
A total of 47,889 bottles of phensidyl, 1,549 bottles wine, 33.392 kilograms of heroin, 959 pieces of yaba tablets, 5.4 kilograms of gnaja and 12 liters of liquor were destroyed at BGB parade ground.
BGB Sector Commander Col Gazi Sazzad, 1 BGB Battalion Commander Lt Col Shamim Masud Al Iftekhar and Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi SM Abdul Kader were present.
BGB-1 Battalion seized the illegal drugs from the frontier lines in the district during last one year.
