Abul Hossain debuts big screen today

After completing master degree in Bengali Literature from Dhaka University in 1976 Abul Hossain hailed from Kushtia joined in Rajshahi Cadet College as teacher in 1980.  
Though he had interested in music, after hearing the play Siraj ud Daula (Nirmalendu Lahiri) scripted by Shachin Sengupto on gramophone record Abul Hossain shown interest in acting. From that time to till now acting is his passion.
For the first time, he performed in a movie titled Moner Moddhe Lekha, directed by Mahmud Hossain Murad, in role of heroine Shampa’s father.
When Abul Hossain worked as teacher in Mymensingh Cadet College Shampa was his student.
Today Abul Hossain acted first movie is going to release today.
Recently he performed in a television commercial of ‘chewing gum’ under the direction of Ashfaq Bipul, which is being aired in different satellite channels now.
From February 21 Abul Hossain will take part in shooting of Saimon Tariq directed movie Matir Pori, he said.
