Abul Hayat writes new theatre play for his fans

actor, director and playwright Abul Hayat will turn into 79 today. There was no special
celebration by his family on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. But he said that elder child of Natasha Hayat, Shreesha, also granddaughter of Abul Hayat,
cut a cake with him on the first hour of September 7. On the
occasion of his birthday, the
actor will attend Channel i’s ‘Tarokakothon’ today at 12:30 noon.
Abul Hayat told this correspondent that he has written a new theatre play titled ‘Shodh’ for his fans on the occasion of his birthday. Celebrating his birthday, this play is scheduled to be staged at main auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital’s Segunbagicha area on September 10. Dominick Gomez will give direction of the play which will be screened at 7:15pm on that day. Naznin Hasan Chumki, Sobhan Bipul, Kazi Al Amin, Riazul Islam and Tahmina Khatun will act in different roles in the play. It will be 12th production of ‘Stage One Dhaka.’
While talking about his birthday and writing a new theatre play on this occasion, Abul Hayat said, “On my birthday, I want one thing that is I can finish my incomplete works. Now I am giving more concentration to writing rather than acting. For this reason, my concentration is also to write my autobiography. ‘Shodh’ is my written new drama. They are going to stage the theatre play having keen interest. I wish success for the newcomer actors of this play. On my birthday, I will miss my elder daughter Bipasha Hayat as usual. Everybody prays for us. I have huge achievements in my life. I am grateful to Allah in this regard.”
Meanwhile, Abul Hayat last acted in Chayanika Chowdhury directorial drama titled ‘Anandadham.’ Masum Shahriar wrote story of the drama.
The actor said that he has planned to act in a new drama serial to be directed by Arif Khan.
