Ekushey Award winner noted actor, playwright and director Abul Hayat will turn into 75 today. Son of Md Abdus Salam and Shamsunnahar Begum Abul Hayat was born in Murshidabad in Paschimbanga, India on Bhadra 23 in 1351, according to Bengali calendar. Today he will pass the day at home. On the occasion of his birthday he will be present at Rtv’s Tarokalaap at 10:40am.
While talking about celebration his birthday Abul Hayat told this correspondent, “I have passed many years of my life. I am very much satisfied with my achievements in my life. As a father, I am a happy person. I want to pass life with everybody’s prays.”
Abul Hayat got the National Film Award for acting in Tauquir Ahmed’s movie Daruchini Dwip in 2008. In 2015, he got Ekushey Award. In last Eid, he made a play titled Aposh based on Rabeya Khatun’s story.
