For the first time noted actor, director, playwright and model Abul Hayat worked in a movie of Kolkata. He acted in a short film titled Ginni under Samrat Das’ direction.
It was also scripted by the director Samrat. Abul Hayat has already taken part in shooting of the film in Kolkata’s Ichchhepur. He played in role of a protagonist lonely old man named Dipok Babu.
Abul Hayat was born in Murshidabad, India. Due to his father’s working place he was settled to Chittagong from where he did not leave the place. He did not refuse to keep request of Samrat Das to act in this film.
While talking in this regard Abul Hayat told this correspondent, “It is really an interesting story. Samrat is a talented director. I acted under his direction with having keen interest. He had huge expectation about me. I have tried to fulfil his desires. I am very much optimistic about this film.”
He also informed that after returning to Dhaka he will start shooting here. On January 12 he will start shooting of last phase of his serial Tin Pagoler Holo Mela, which is being aired on Channel i. It is mentioned that Abul Hayat earlier acted in three plays in Kolkata.
