On the occasion of Father’s Day, Ekushey Award winner noted actor and director Abul Hayat performed as a model in a video song. He took part in shooting of the video song in Chattogram under Musafir Syed’s direction on June 9 and 10. Earlier, he acted in role of father in Maksudur Rahman Bishal directed Eid drama titled Akkhep. Director Bishal informed that this drama will be aired soon.
Jamal Hossain wrote the song titled Baba while Muhin Khan composed its music. Close up 1 star Pulock rendered the song. Abul Hayat acted in role of father while Irfan Sajjad played the role of his son in the video.
While talking about performing as model in the video song Abul Hayat told this correspondent, “Lyrics and tunes of the song are very emotional. The lyricist who wrote its lyrics he composed it cordially. Muhin also composed its music nicely. Pulock has rendered the song passionately. For this reason, while performing in the video song I became emotional. I believe this song will touch hearts of so many music-lovers.”
Muhin Khan informed that the song Baba will be released YouTube channel of Rongon Music on coming Father’s Day on June 16.
In last Eid, Abul Hayat made a drama titled Mommy under the story written by Rabeya Khatun where besides Abul Hayat, Sharmily Ahmed, Irfan Sajjad and Shabnam Faria acted. Therefore, in last Eid, Abul Hayat also acted in several numbers.
