Awami League (AL) Advisory Council Member and former President of Dhaka South City unit of the ruling party Abul Hasnat passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Wednesday. He was 79. Hasnat left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers as well as political fellows to mourn his death.
Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at the demise of Abul Hasnat.In a message of condolence, the Prime Minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Abul Hasnat. Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
