The government on Wednesday appointed M Abu Zafar, now the Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Bangladesh’s new Ambassador to Austria.
A career diplomat, Abu Zafar belongs to the 10th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre. In his diplomatic career, Zafar served in Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague and Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Karachi.
