In 2019, Bangladeshi mechanical engineer Munjarin Abony was crowned as ‘Ambassador Award’ in the Mrs World contest organised by Mrs World Organisation in Las Vegas, USA. Recently on behalf of a corporation, Abony has been awarded as ‘The Fashion Icon Award.’ She won the crown of Mrs World Bangladesh contest, which was organised in the country for the first time in 2019. Then she took part in the Mrs World contest. Abony is fashion conscious model. So, she got the Fashion Icon Award. After maintaining her family life and
children, Abony has been working silently for
the people of the society. Abony said, “I got the ‘Ambassador Award’ as the recognition of working for the deprived and helpless children and elder persons of the society. Basically before getting this award I had been working for them three years back. I am still working for them. It is really a honour for me to get the Fashion Icon award. I am getting inspiration in this field from our legendary film actress Bobita Madam who is also working for the deprived and helpless children and people of the society. I am not a great artiste like her but I have willingness and cordialness in this regard. I strongly believe I will work for the deprived and helpless children and aged people of the society in future. I am grateful to them who are always beside me and also give me inspiration to do these works.”
Expert in dancing, Abony has keen interest to establish herself as a reputed model. But in case of acting, she wants to learn first about acting. Then she wants to do acting, said Abony and adding, “It was my great achievement to become first Mrs World Bangladesh. Now it is time to work. My family played a pivotal role to come into my present position. If they didn’t give me support properly, I couldn’t come into this position,” Abony also said.
