Janina Islam Abir, a student of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department of Dhaka University(DU), got ‘Novera Deepita Memorial Scholarship’ of the university for securing the highest CGPA in BSS Honours Examination-2014.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Tuesday distributed the scholarship as the chief guest at a function, held at the VC’s lounge on the campus.
Chairman of DU MCJ department Professor Mofizur Rahman presided over the function while Professor Dr Abul Mansur Ahmed, Associate Professor Dr Naadir Junaid, Associate Professor Dr ASM Asaduzzaman and Novera Deepita’s mother Adila Bakul addressed the function, among others.
