State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Wednesday said the ability of Bangladeshi youth is now recognised by the world as the media in home and abroad are continuously making reports about their successes.
Palak came up with the observation while addressing an award giving ceremony held by his division to honor the 20 top startups selected through “National Exhibition for Startup Bangladesh” recently.
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Professor Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal addressed the function as special guest.
“We have launched the ‘Start Bangladesh’ initiative to raise a startup culture in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and with the direction of her ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy. In 2015, we had allocated space for free at Janata Tower in the capital for top 50 startups through this initiative,” Palak said.
