Economic Reporter :Abhijit Chakravorty recently appointed as the country head of State bank of India.He has taken over as country head of State Bank of India’s Bangladesh operations.Prior to the assignment, Chakravorty was the Chief Executive Officer of the bank’s Dhaka branch. He has 26 years of experience in banking, with focus on corporate credit, loan syndication, foreign exchange and treasury functions, trade finance, HRD and risk management. He joined state Bank of India in the year 1988 as Probationary Officer and has served tha Bank at various offices in India and the branch at Hongkong.
