Abdul Matin passed away due to old age complications at Dr Amzad Hospital in the capital on Sunday morning. He was 83.
Matin breathed his last at 7:00am at the hospital, said Mamun Atik, son of late Matin.
Matin left behind his wife and three sons. He was buried at ‘Jannatul Ma’wa
graveyard in Mirpur Section-10.
His Qulkhani will be held after Asr prayer at his residence, House No.6, Road No. 8 of Block C in Section-6 of Mirpur tomorrow (Wednesday).
All his relatives and well-wishers have been requested to attend the programme.
Matin contributed to different fields in his professional life. Late Matin was Public Relations Officer of Australian High Commission in Bangladesh. He was also Personal Secretary (PS) to Barrister Mainul Hosein, Chairman, Editorial Boards of the Daily Ittefaq and The New Nation.
