AZM Abdul Ali, noted columnist and former Comptroller of Accounts and Chief Financial Officer passed away at his Uttara residence in the city on Friday due to old age complications. He was 82.
He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
The deceased was also interconnected with Bangladesh United Nation (UN) Association as well as with different national and international organizations.
