Abductors return 3 Bhaluka siblings

Our Trishal Correspondent :Three brothers, who were abducted from their village home at Mallikbari of Bhaluka on Thursday morning, were dropped by the abductors near their house early morning on Sunday.Three brothers were claimed to have been picked up by some people “introducing themselves as RAB personnel” from Bhayaboh village in Bhaluka upazila early Thursday morning.The brothers are Abu Hanif, 22, Nazmul Haque, 18, and Sanwar Hossain, 14– sons of Mohammad Asadullah, a farmer.Nazmul Haque talking to The New Nation said that a group of people, numbering about a dozen introducing themselves as RAB personnel, picked up them at gunpoint from their home.The kidnapers blindfolded them and tied their hands before pushing them into a car, he said adding the car stopped after an hour’s drive. Later, they were kept confined to a room, he said.They were given food on time and none misbehaved with them, he said adding that no ransom money was also demanded. Nazmul said, he did not find any reason behind their abduction as they have no dispute with any body. He also claimed that they have no political affiliations. The abductors dropped them blindfolded, using a car, at Mallikbari intersection in the early hours of Sunday, Nazmul said. The return of the three sons of Asadullah came as a great relief to the members of his family 5.  Abul Kalam Azad, Officer in Charge of Bhaluka police station talking to this correspondent said the matter is under investigation. “We want to find out the mystery behind the matter. It was probably not an act of any criminal gang.”Upazila chairman and officer in charge of Bhaluka police station visited the house of Asadullah this morning on hearing the news of the return of three brothers.
