BNP Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed on Thursday said that “abduction, forced disappearance and extrajudicial killing” are now increasing in the country geometrically.
“As the government is indifferent to rule of law, abduction, forced disappearance, illegally detention and extrajudicial killing are increasing in the country geometrically,” said Rizvi Ahmed at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan Central Office on Thursday.
Rizvi Ahmed said the present government has created reign of terror in the country.
“No one is safe in the country. Even leaders of opposition political leaders, writers, poets, human right activists, labour leaders and people of other professions are affected by the unhealthy administration of the government,” he said.
About the missing of Forhad Mazhar, he said that the whole nation got hurt when they heard it.
He said that the flood affected people of Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Sylhet, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat and some other northern districts are crying for relief. The government should stand by them.
