Police Super of Narsingdi Sheikh Rafiqul Islam on Saturday in a press conference at his office informed the local journalists that police on Friday night rescued the abducted Zahid Hassan, a student of class six and arrested three in this connection.
Zahid Hassan, student of Sharafat Ullah High School and son of Haris miah of village Sharrabad under Belabo upazila of Narsingdi district was abducted from Naryanpur bus stand on 11-9-14 when he went Naryanpur for private coaching at about 1-30 after school
On 12-9-14 Shojan miah the elder brother of Zahid filed a General Diary(GD) at Belabo thana police about the abduction of his brother.
He also informed the police that by the two mobile phone him the abductors demanded Tk one thousand as deliverance money.
After receiving information a team of police including Belabo thana police inspector Bodrul Alam, Police inspector (Investigation) Abu Taher Sub-inspector (Detective branch) Naimul Islam Mostak and Sub-inspector (Investigation officer GD) Abu Hanif by the superintendence of Additional police Super Moklesur Raheman conducted the raids on different places of Dhaka and rescued the school student Zahid from the rented house of accused Shahin Miah at Nandi Para area under Khilgoan thana at 9-45 pm on Friday.
The arrested persons are : Kamal Hossain Shahin miah (30) Son of Shumsul Hoque of village Borai of Comilla, Rashedul Islam Suman(32). son of Ismail Hossain village- Kazirbar, upazila Sharshs,dist Joshore and (3)Masud (22) son of Halim Uddin of village Birashi under Nandial upazila of Mayminsingh district.
