The body of a minor girl who was kidnapped 16 days ago from her house was recovered in Jamtola area in Kamarkhand upazila on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Jannatul, 5, daughter of Anwar Hossain, a resident of the area.
Babul Sarder, Officer-in-Charge of Kamarkhand Police Station, said Jannatul was kidnapped from the area on October 7
Later, her father filed a general diary with the police station.
Police arrested two men in this connection on Friday night.
According to their statement, police recovered the body from a well in the area in the morning.
