Police in a drive rescued a schoolboy of ethnic community (Marma) from Balumura area in Rajosthali upazila early Friday after one day of his abduction by miscreants.
Police also arrested three suspected abductors — Sana Uddin, Russel and Monwar Hossain Manu in connection with the abduction.
Police said the trio had picked up Bijoy Marma, 7, a student of a local primary school and son of Pru Thoai Marma, after making him unconscious with sedative while he was returning home from school. Bijoy’s parents filed a general diary with Rajastholi Police Station. Later, police arrested the three abductors and rescued the boy.
