After taking part in ZeeBangla’s SaReGaMaPa, Abanti Sithi did not get the opportunity to render any play-back song for movie. In the meantime, she got the scope to lend her voice for Mizanur Rahman Aryan’s movie Networker Baire, which was released on OTT platform recently. Title of the song was Kono ek rupkothar jogote. Someshwar Ali wrote lyrics of the song while Sazid Sarkar composed its music. In the song, Rehan Rosul also lent his voice with Abanti Sithi in the song. While talking about rendering the song Abanti Sithi said, “Personally this song is favourite to me. Its recording was done many days ago. I liked rough track of the song that was sent to me. I have liked the chemistry between Oli Bhai and Sazid Bhai in the song. I thought if they work together it may a good composition. And director’s work seemed to be something different to me. Networker Baire is like that. After coming from SaReGaMaPa, it was first work in movie. I hope coming days I will get the scope to render more play-back songs for movies.”
Abanti Sithi also said that before going to take part in SaReGaMaPa, she rendered a play-back song under Ahmmed Humayun’s composition. Within very soon she will release her own composed song titled Pakhir Moto Uri. Therefore, her other songs Jebhabe Dake (composed by Rahul Dutta), Kotodin Bari Jaina (lyrics: Sheikh Rana, tune: Ehsan Rahi), and Kauke Kokhono Khub Bhalobesona (lyrics and tunes by Ashish Baiddyo) will be released one after another.
Abanti’s elder sister is Shetu and younger is Smriti. Abanti completed bachelor and post-graduate degrees in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University. Her debut song Tomar Jonno was released in 2014. In SaReGaMaPa, she secured 14th place. Tumi Brishti Bhalobaso, composed by Goutam Ghoshal, was her first
original song after returning from SaReGaMaPa contest. Later, she also lent her voice for several numbers of songs.
