Abahani’s goal feast against Nepalese club

Abahani Limited went on a goal feast as they dumped Manang Marshyangdi Club of Nepal by 5-0 goals in their group E home match of the AFC Cup held on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
In the day’s proceeding, Abahani dominated all through the match and took a 2-0 goal lead before the breather. It was also the highest margin of victory for Abahani in their AFC Cup campaign.

Indian Super League champion Chennaiyin FC stand at second position with eight points from five outings. Dhaka Abahani will play their last away match against Minerva Punjab of India on June 26 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
The Group champion will qualify to the knock out stage. In that case Abahani only need a draw in their last match to go to the knock out stage.
Earlier, the sky blues beat the Nepalese outfit 1-0 in their away match.
