Dhaka Abahani Limited thrashed Swadhinata Krira Sangha (KS) by 4-1 goals in their match of the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bhasha Sainink Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla on Thursday.
Dhaka Abahani have taken the second position in the points table grabbing 41 points from 19 matches, while Swadhinata Krira Sangha remained at the bottom position earning nine points from as many outings.
Abahani’s foreign recruit Daniel Colindres put his team ahead by a right-footer in the 20th minute of the play.
Abahani’s Brazilian recruit Dorielton made it 2-0 by an accurate right-footer shot in the 24th minute of the match.
Swadhinata Krira Sangha’s Japanese recruit Suzuki reduced the margin (1-2) in the injury time of the first half. After the lemon-break, Dorielton scored his second goal using a pass of his teammate Nabib Newaj in the 57th minute of the game.
Abahani’s Brazilian midfielder Raphael Augusto sealed the fate of the match (4-1) in the 80th minute.
