Abahani Limited moved into the top slot in the points table of the Walton Refrigerator Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) when they defeated Prime Bank Cricket Club by 33 runs in their 11th
round curtail over match held on Monday at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
The match was reduced to 43 overs-a-side due to fog. Invited to bat first by Prime Bank, Abahani Limited were all out for 169 in 41.1 overs.
In reply, Prime Bank found the chase very stiff and cheaply bundled out for 136 in 39.2 overs.
Abul Majid of Abahani Limited was named the player of the match for his brilliant batting performance in the match.
After the 11th round matches, both the teams have 18 points, but due to better run rate Abahani secured the top slot in the table.
