A brilliant century by Saidul Islam Imran enabled Chittagong Abahani Limited to crush Shaheed Shahjahan Sangha by 193 runs in the CJKS-Ispahani Premier Division Cricket League at the MA Aziz Stadium here on Tuesday.
Sent into bat first, Abahani Limited piled up a huge 303 for all in stipulated 50 overs with middle order batsman Saidul Islam Imran making a century scoring run-a-ball 112 featuring nine fours and three sixes.
Besides, Kamrul Islam (62), Zakir Hossain (40) and Tushar Imran (18) were other notable scorers for Abahani.
Pronoy Barua grabbed three wickets for 49 runs while Shakawat Hossain took two wickets for 55 runs.
In reply, Shaheed Shahjahan Sangha were bundled out for 110 runs in 42.5 overs with two down Inzamamul Haque contributing 51 runs off 99 balls hitting three fours and one six.
Besides, Shakawat Hossain (15), Fahad Alam (13) and Imtiaz Sultan Jony (11) were the other main contributors for Shahjahan Sangha.
Minhaz claimed three wickets for 19 runs while Kamrul Islam took two for 13 runs.
