Dhaka Abahani Limited managed a 1-0 goal victory over Muktijoddha Sangsad KC in the 2nd leg match of the Nitol Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Monday.
With the day’s feat, the popular sky-blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited remained at the 2nd slot in the league table securing 25 points from 12 matches after league leader Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club (28 points) while Muktijoddha SKC remained at their previous credit of 18 from 12 outings.
In the day’s match, Portuguese forward Leonildo Suares scored the match winning goal for Abahani in the 29th minute by an angular shot, utilizing a through pass of medio Shahedul Alam (1-0).
