The rain-hit 1st round super league match between Abahani Limited and Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on Sunday, could not be decided because of afternoon
thunder showers and later was postponed at BKSP ground no.3 in Savar.
The match umpires decided to roll the match on reserve day today (Monday). The match resumes at 9 am.
Earlier, Doleshwar chasing Abahani’s 191 runs, scored 59 for 2 in 17 overs with Raqibul Hasan 25 and Sachin Baby 6 on the crease. Amit Kumar and Taskin Ahmed bagged one wicket each for Abahani
Earlier, Abahani Limited rode on Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s responsible 71 runs knock as they were bowled out for 191 in 42.4 overs, after they were asked to bat first by Doleshawar.
Al Amin Hossain and Sanjamaul Islam were the most successful bowlers for Doleshwar as they captured three wickets each giving away 30and 39runs respectively. They were well supported by Nasir Hossain who took two wickets for 32 runs.
