Popular guitarist and rock star Ayub Bachchu is going to arrnage instrumental shows in six major cities of the country in March.
The shows are part of a festival titled AB with Sound of Silence in which Ayub Bachchu and his band LRB will present instrumental pieces on guitar.
They will perform in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Bogra, Rajshahi and Khulna.
While talking in this regard popular musician Ayub Bachchu told this correspondent, “Music concerts are regularly held in the country, but never before has there been a concert for instruments used in rock music. I have often been requested by my fans in concerts to play guitar. I hope this festival, covering six cities, will quench their thirst to listen to my guitar.”
Bachchu also informed that dates of the shows will be declared soon. He also recalled how his journey with guitar began.
Ayub Bachchu started his music career with rock band Feelings in 1978. From 1980 to 1990, he served as the lead guitarist of Souls. In 1991, he formed his own band, LRB.
In the following years, Ayub Bachchu and his band gained immense popularity in the country with many fan-favourite songs and albums.
Their latest album, Rakhey Allah Marey Ke, was released digitally in July. The band is now working on their next album.
It is noted that LRB celebrated its silver jubilee with a grand concert on December 20 at the Bashundhara Convention City in Dhaka.
